SWEDISH

 
The Primary goal of Swedish massage  is to relax the entire body.  It is preformed through long gliding strokes in the direction of blood flow.

DEEP TISSUE

Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension.  The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones, and joints).

STRETCH

Manual stretching is a technique focused on elongating, aligning, and balancing fascia.  Benefits include increased flexibilty, increased range of motion, improve physical performance, increase blood flow, improve posture, and can even relieve stress.

CUPPING

Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist uses special cups to suction and create negative pressure to loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system.  Benefits include pain (joint/muscle) and inflammation management, increase blood flow, enhance physical performance, and  decrease anxiety and fatigue.
